They've got their ladder leaned against the wrong wall.
They work, they climb and they eventually start to feel like a dog chasing its tail. The things they're working so hard on wind up having a very low yield. Or...
If they do a fairly good job of making money, they often burn themselves out getting there...and their quality of life suffers.
I may be stating the obvious here, but you did not get into this business to work like a dog. You probably got into real estate to make a decent living for you and your family.
But rarely do agents position themselves to be in the 'high-income zone.' Thus, the exodus of many agents in a soft market like we are in now.
